It was a tough test at FedExForum Saturday night as the Memphis Tigers survived a Double OT battle to get the 109-102 victory over Yale. Down 3 with only seconds left in the 2nd half, Freshman G Tyler Harris was fouled on a 3pt shot and drained 3 clutch free throws to tie the game at 83 and send it into overtime. The Tigers struggled in the 1st OT but clawed their way back and tied the game at 96 after a Kyvon Davenport free throw. The Tigers were able to take advantage of an undermanned Yale squad that had 5 players foul out in the game to ultimately get the win in the 2nd OT.

All Tigers starters scored in double figures led by 22 from Tyler Harris and 20 from Jeremiah Martin. Alex Lomax added 13 and Kyvon Davenport was just shy of a double-double with 10pts 8rebs in the win. Mike Parks Jr. and Kareem Brewton both also finished in double figures off the bench with Brewton hitting a clutch 3 in the 2nd OT.

The Tigers now sit at 2-1 on the season and head to Orlando next week for the Advocare Invitational where they take on Oklahoma State at 2:30pm Thanksgiving Day on ESPN2.
