It was truly a tail of two halves. First half: Memphis 71 Toronto 59 Second half: Toronto 63 Memphis 43 Final score: Toronto 122 Memphis 114

Unlike the second half bleeding that happened against the Clippers and Knicks during this three game skid for Memphis, this game was simply the best team in the NBA in the Raptors asserting their style on Memphis. They seemed content picking up the pace in the second half to take over the game and take advantage of the Grizzlies lack of offense.  The combination of guards Kyle Lowry (24 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists in 37 minutes) and Fred VanVleet (18 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in 22 minutes) for Toronto outplayed the duo of Mike Conley (20 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists in 35 minutes) and Shelvin Mack (10 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists in 23 minutes). But it was more than that. The Grizzlies (shooting a solid 50.6% FG/34.5% from three) couldn't keep pace with the Raptors offense (60.9% FG/54.5% from three). If anything, the three point line alone did the Grizzlies in.

Now the Memphis Grizzlies, with higher expectations and having just played a tough Raptors team at home, look to turn it around Friday night in Brooklyn.
