Grizzlies Lose Close One at Phoenix, 102-100 on Sunday

Next Game: Monday at Warriors 9pm on 92.9FM & 680AM

November 04, 2018 - 9:57 pm

The Memphis Grizzlies dropped a nail-biter on Sunday Night, 102-100 at Phoenix. Devin Booker hit the final two buckets to lead the Suns to victory, finishing with a game high 25pts in the win.

The one positive to take away from the loss is the Grizzlies appear to have found the backup point guard they've been looking for in Shelvin Mack, who finished with a team high 21pts and has averaged 18pts over the past three games. Dillon Brooks had a nice game as well with 17 off the bench. But it was an off night for Mike and Marc, who finished 5 of 29 from the floor for a combined 19pts.

The Grizzlies are now 1-1 on this three game road trip heading into a big game Monday against the best team in the NBA, the 9-1 Golden State Warriors. Coverage begins at 9pm on 92.9FM & 680AM.
