Referees Brent Barnaky, Brian Forte, and Jacyn Goble had their hands full, and had a hand in Wednesday night's Grizzlies vs. Spurs game. It included technical fouls on both teams, including one each for forwards Jaren Jackson Jr. and JaMychal Green. In the end, with less than 2 seconds, it was a Rudy Gay foul that sent Marc Gasol to the line and helped Memphis escape San Antonio with a 1-point win Wednesday night (11/21). The amount of total games grows for the Grizzlies (now 17 of 82), and it's starting to appear that the Memphis Grizzlies are indeed "for real". Memphis saw itself in 1st place in the NBA Western Conference after this game with San Antonio.

Mike Conley continues to will the Grizzlies to wins. Conley led Memphis against San Antonio with 30 points. Marc Gasol had another double-double scoring 20 points with 10 rebounds in 35 minutes. Jaren Jackson, once again in foul trouble much of the game, had 9 points in just 12 minutes. JaMychal Green, also in foul trouble for Memphis, had 12 points in 19 minutes.

But the team concept is what's winning games for Memphis. Defensively the Grizzlies were able to rotate in Omri Casspi, Shelvin Mack, Wayne Selden, and Marshon Brooks.
