It was a tale of two halfs for the Memphis Tigers in the AAC Championship Game Saturday in Orlando.

They had a historic first half of rushing with Darrell Henderson (210yds 3TDs + passing TD) & Patrick Taylor Jr. (118yds TD) both leading the Tigers to a 38-21 halftime lead over #8 UCF, who was playing without their star QB McKenzie Milton (broken leg).

But the offense was stagnant in the 2nd half, scoring only 3pts, and the defense gave up 35 second half points to the Knights and Freshman QB Darriel Mack Jr. (348yds passing. 2 TDs, 59yds rushing 4 TDs) & RB Greg McCrae (206yds TD). The Tigers fall 56-41 to lose their second straight AAC Championship game to UCF.
